We had this at a small restaurant on the Sittard square. It was described as an "amber ale," but was much maltier than Irish/English or American amber ales. It is slightly bitter and in fact I would describe it as an "amber pilsner" except that it is not very sharp, so any comparison with real Pilsner would be deceiving.
